| The R100EP wheel incorporates unique, molded-in slots completely
around it's periphery. Centrifugal force causes
the slots to rotate from an angular position at stop to a fully radial position when the wheel is running. The wheel expands when running, with maximum "stretch" limited by the outer rubber ring. The expansion of the wheel face causes it to press firmly against the abrasive band so that the band and wheel follow exactly the contours work being finished. The R100EP is a versatile wheel for metalworking, shoe manufacturing and lapidary grinding operations. It uses low cost abrasive bands and needs no backstand installation. |
